Testosterone is much more than a sex hormone. Testosterone improves oxygen uptake throughout the body, helps control blood sugar, regulates cholesterol and maintains immune surveillance.
Despite all this testosterone remains one of the most misunderstood hormone. Body builders and baseball players have given testosterone a bad rap. Our hope is that this 30 minute video will cover the factors that affect testosterone levels, the problems associated with decreased testosterone and will explain why you should be checking free testosterone in your male and female patients.
